Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie de Sfax

The certificate of origin is used to prove the origin of goods to meet customs or commercial requirements and certifies that they originate in Tunisia or, upon proof, in a third country.

The issuance of Certificates of Origin is a function delegated by the Ministry of Commerce to the Chambers of Commerce and Industry in accordance with Law 2006-75 of November 30, 2006 on the Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

This manual is adopted by the Tunisian Chambers of Commerce and Industry with the aim of standardizing the procedures for issuing Certificates of Origin.

The provisions of this manual, in particular those relating to the documents to be presented in support of the Certificate of Origin, are directives that the Chambers of Commerce and Industry will have to apply.

The Chambers of Commerce and Industry shall ensure that Certificates of Origin are issued with the utmost care, according to the rules laid down, so that these documents cannot be contested by the user parties.

Conventional Certificate of Origin

Certificate of origin established within the framework of bilateral conventions between Tunisia and certain Arab countries (Morocco, Egypt, Jordan, Libya, Algeria): Conventional Certificates of Origin

Certificate of origin established under the convention of the great Arab free trade area: Certificates of Arab Origin

Certificate of origin issued by the exporting countries benefiting from the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) to the preference-giving countries: Form A

Certificate of origin for movement of goods for the export of originating products to the European Union: EUR1

Certificate of origin of movement of goods for the export of products in the PANEUROMED zone: EUROMED

Certificates of Origin of Common Law :

The common law CO is a certificate of origin issued by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sfax, when the rules of origin allowing the granting of a conventional certificate of origin are not met or when trade is not governed by a preferential tariff framework or at the request of the exporter.
