Activity report 2020
2020, The year of Covid
CCIS is always by your side!
With the persistence of the Coronavirus pandemic and its continuation for several consecutive months which do not seem to stop, adapting to this new situation becomes more than vital for our economy which has suffered the brunt of the repercussions of confinement and the new national and international health status.
As a result, the CCIS has tried to fully play its role in pursuing its mission of supporting companies, strengthening ties and maintaining contact with its members while proposing new formats for its activities.
Today the mode of management and remote management continues to impose itself as an inevitable choice to limit the damage of the scourge and set the pendulums of the economy back on time. Indeed, the CCIS was among the first economic actors to apply the "remote mode" with the launch of a series of events, distance training, Webinars and virtual meetings not only for the benefit of economic operators but also for the benefit of its staff who have sought to meet their professional responsibilities in a new way, in particular, telework!
On the other hand, the CCIS pursues its ambitions of creating projects, either of cooperation, such as the MEDSt@rts which aims to set up a support system to facilitate access to financing for young entrepreneurs, or of training, such as the Corporate University which allows candidates to obtain professional diplomas.
The year 2021 looks promising with the organization of the thirtieth anniversary of the Mediterranean Building Exhibition (MEDIBAT) from October 6 to 9, 2021 in Sfax, the 3rd edition of the African Building and Related Trades Exhibition AFRIBAT, in Yaoundé (Cameroon) and the multi-sector traveling exhibition "Made in Tunisia" in Kinshasa (DRC) in December 2021. In addition to a very interesting program to boost our relations with Libya.
We will approach the year 2021, in a positive way, by seizing the opportunities for our members. Together we will emerge stronger.
The President
Ridha Fourati
