5th Networking Event of Microfinance Actors – MEDST @ RTS Sfax Project 05.15.2020

The Sfax Chamber of Commerce and Industry, partner of the MEDSt@rts cooperation project funded by the European Union under the ENI CBC Med 2014-2020 program, an instrument for cross-border cooperation in the Mediterranean basin, organized the 5th online networking meeting, on Friday 15.05.2020 in the presence of: Carthage Business Angels, El Amel de Microfinance, UIB, EndaTamweel, Flat6Labs Tunisia, La caisse des Dépôts et Consignations, Société El AmanaTakaful, BFPME, ENDA INTER ARABE and ATI.

Other microfinance institutions and key actors have also taken part in all the meetings held within the framework of the MEDST @ rts project, in particular: MAXULA GESTION, Attijari Bank, ZitounaTamkeen, UGFS-NA, ADVANS Tunisia, the Agence de Promotion de Industry and Innovation APII, Réseau Entreprendre Tunisie, Wiki Startup, SOCIETE TUNISIENNE DE BANQUE, Microcred / Baobab Tunisia, Pôle de l'Etudiant de Sfax,, Tunisian Professional Association of Microfinance Institutions "IMF", SPACE ENTREPRENDRE DE SFAX, Financial Center for Entrepreneurs and the TUNISIA INITIATIVE.

The objective of these meetings is the creation of a network of local key actors in the field of microfinance, essential to facilitate access for young Tunisian entrepreneurs to financing.

The network brings together about fifteen financial institutions and support for the development of business creation, it constitutes a platform for constructive dialogue and knowledge sharing, capable of contributing to the financing plan for young businesses generated by the Medst@rts project.

The Tunisian network is part of the #Mediterranean cross-border network which includes 60 key players in business finance across Greece, Italy, Tunisia, Lebanon and Palestine.
