Context: “Global Entrepreneurship Week” is the largest event celebrating entrepreneurship in the world, organized in more than 170 countries and bringing together more than 20,000 international partners, with the aim of encouraging the largest number of people to harness their spirit of initiative and innovation, through local, national and international activities.

 

In this context, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sfax, partner of the MEDSt@rts cooperation project financed by the European Union within the framework of the ENI CBC Med 2014-2020 program, an instrument for cross-border cooperation in the basin Mediterranean, organized a Round Table on the theme: "The importance of Microfinance for the development of small businesses, MEDSt@rts project", on Tuesday 17.11.2020 at the Hotel les Oliviers Palace Sfax from 09h00- 12h00.

This event marked the presence of more than 40 participants, including the stakeholders of the MEDSt@rts project: entities, support organizations, as well as microfiance actors who are partners in this project,

The objective of this round table was to promote the MEDSt@rts project, as a mechanism to support research and access to finance for young entrepreneurs and the development of small businesses.
