Inauguration of the TECHLOG project at the MARLOG 11 conference & 2nd project steering committee meeting in Alexandria, Egypt 20 -21 March 2022

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sfax, partner of the EU-funded TECHLOG project, participated in the launch conference of the TECHLOG project entitled "Cross-border cooperation for innovation in transport" within the framework of the session of Opening of MARLOG 11 (International Shipping and Logistics Conference), March 20, 2022.

 

During this conference, organized by the AASTMT Arab Academy For Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in cooperation with CEEBA - Confederation of Egyptian European Business Associations, the main actors of the transport sector in Egypt and the project partners from Italy, d Spain, Lebanon, Tunisia and Egypt were gathered.

 

The speakers who participated in this inaugural event of the TECHLOG project in Egypt are:

The second day was dedicated to the second meeting of the project steering committee, organized from Alexandria, Egypt.

The meeting, which was held both at the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce and on ZOOM in collaboration with the Confederation of Egyptian European Business Associations (CEEBA), brought together all the project partners from the 5 Mediterranean countries as well as the representative from the Joint Technical Secretariat of the program Mr. Khaled El Saadany, to discuss the ongoing achievements, next steps and major opportunities of the project. Many events are scheduled such as the setting up of Living Labs, the carrying out of studies and the platform for sharing experiences and innovations in the field of training in the transport and logistics sector, financed by the EU.
