The Tunisian-Italian strategic partnership in the Mechatronic and ICT sectors Wednesday February 12, 2020 from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm – Sheraton Tunis Hotel

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sfax is pleased to inform you that the ICE-Agency for Foreign Trade, under the patronage of the Italian Embassy and in collaboration with AIDAM- Italian Association of Mechatronic Automation, will organize within the framework of a European Union program called PES 2 (Piano Export south) a Workshop on the theme “The Tunisian-Italian strategic partnership in the sectors of Mechatronic and ICT”. This Workshop will take place on Wednesday February 12, 2020 at the Sheraton Hotel from 9:30 am.

The objective of this event will be to explore new collaboration opportunities between the two countries and to allow Italian companies to create new forms of partnerships with Tunisian counterparts in the targeted sectors.

The workshop will be structured in two parts:

 The conference during the morning, with the participation of representatives of Tunisian public institutions among them Mr. Nader Bhouri, project manager at the Ministry of Communication Technologies and the Digital Economy, Mr. Hichem Turki, CEO of the Technological Pole of Sousse (Mechatronic) and Mr. Mohamed Ali Mejri, CEO of the Pôle d'El Ghazala (TIC); while on the Italian side there will be Mr. Paolo Dondo, Technical Director of the MESAP Innovation Pole and permanent member of the National Cluster of the Intelligent Factory, Mr. Salvatore Latronico, President of the District of Production of Information Technologies of the Puglia Region and Mr. Giorgio Ventre, Scientific Director of the Apple Developer Academy in Naples and CEO of Campania Newsteel, a startup incubator.

 In the afternoon, B2B meetings are scheduled between interested Italian and Tunisian companies.

An interpretation service (Italian-French) will be available during the event. Participation in this event is free while online registration is required.
