Visit of H.E.M. Carlos Feo Acevedo Ambassador of Venezuela in Tunisia

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sfax welcomed on February 26, 2021, H.E. Mr. Carlos Feo Acevedo, Ambassador of Venezuela in Tunis, on the occasion of his visit to Sfax. He was accompanied by his collaborators: Ms. Yasmine Corrales, First Secretary of the Embassy and Ms. Yosra Mbarek, Assistant to H.E. the Ambassador.

Received by Mr. Ridha Fourati, President of the CCIS, this meeting took place in the presence of members of the Chamber.

For this first visit to the CCIS, the president drew up, for the attention of the ambassador, the main lines of the economic fabric of the region of Sfax with the specificities and strengths of industry and trade of the region. . The Ambassador, for his part, thanked the CCIS for the welcome he received and his willingness to forge strong and lasting ties with Tunisia and the region of Sfax n particular.

He presented the main axes of Venezuela's 90% oil-based economy. The country is in the process of diversifying its industrial production and, in this context; Tunisia is a very interesting potential partner.
