2nd Cross-Border Forum – MEDSt@rts project

03-03-2022 at the hotel Borj Dhiafa- Sfax-Tunisia

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sfax (CCIS), is a reference partner for Tunisia, with other six euro- Mediterranean entities, of the MEDSt@rts cooperation project financed by the European program ENI CBC MED 2014-2020, an instrument for cross-border cooperation in the Mediterranean basin.

MEDSt@rts is a project that aims to facilitate access to financing for young entrepreneurs.

Within the framework of the MEDSt@rts project financed by the ENI CBC MED, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sfax organized the second cross-border forum, on Thursday 03 March 2022 in Sfax (at 09:00 in Borj Dhiafha hotel) with the objective of participating in the development of a common strategy for a Mediterranean microfinance program, based on instruments and support services for new and innovative businesses.

In order to create a transnational network of microfinance actors, over the last months, the MEDSt@rts project has organized local meetings in each targeted area with the aim of involving the different actors and discussing the main questions related to the support for non-bankable persons.

The cross-border forums will allow the partners to compare the first results obtained.
